Single Mom's £8.4m Lotto Win
It was a dream come true for a UK mon who was living in a homeless shelter just two months ago.
With champangne in hand, she celebrated winning £8,372,751 in the National Lottery.
The 43-year-old, who quit her £5.85 an hour job as soon as her win was confirmed, said: "When the woman printed the slip showing what I'd won I started dancing from one foot to the other.
"I suddenly felt sick - and still do, although now it's a very excited sort of feeling.
"It seems like an out of body experience. I've always wanted to live in a big house so I won't hear my son playing the drums - and now I can. My sister lives in Spain. I'll probably buy one there too."
Jenny, from Newport, Gwent, wound up in the hostel with her teenage children after selling their £120,000 home because she could not afford the mortgage.
Her children - university student daughter Lauren, 19, and schoolboy sons Kyle, 17, and Jamie, 14, are understandably thrilled.
Ex-husband Waynne, 42, a warehouseman who lives three miles away, said: "I've texted congratulations to Jenny but I will leave the next contact to my ex-wife. I'm happy for her and the children.
