Polictics and Babies
Everywhere I look this weekend - I see is a politician holding a baby.
The whole thing is actually creepy to me - wanting to have your baby photographed with some random person, especially after that person has shook every hand in the state...
I guess when a politician holds a baby and interact with it, voters see that as some measure of empathy. Parents recognize real empathy and they vote for the candidate that looks the most natural.
If that's the case then Sen. John McCain would win this weekend's baby round because the baby he is holding looks comfy, secure and happy.
