Octuplets Celebrate 1st Birthday!
It's hard to believe that Nadya Suleman's Octuplets were born a ago!
The eight babies arrived at an amazing 31 weeks gestation by Caesarean section over a five-minute period, stunning a 46-member medical team that was expecting only seven babies.
At birth, they weighed between 1 pound 8 ounces (680 grams) and 3 pounds 4 ounces (1.47 kg).
To publicize the big day the octuplets, Maliyah, Makai, Isaiah, Noah, Josiah, Jeremiah, Jonah and Nariyah, appeared in a photo dated Jan. 24 surrounded by balloons and a giant chocolate cake.
The busy mom told Star magazine that the real party, today, will be a lot more low key - eight tiny cakes for eight tiny tots.
