Featured Review: The First Years True Choice Premium Digital Monitor

Before our son arrived, one of the toughest decisions we had to make, as far as products were concerned, was which monitor to choose. My husband and I must have spent the better part of an hour looking at the wall of monitors when picking one for our registry, not knowing where to begin.

So when we were given the opportunity to review the True Choice Premium Digital Monitor (P400) by The First Years we were happy our search was over. On arrival my husband couldn’t wait to get the monitor out of the box. I don’t know what excited him more - the sleek design or the 3 way communication feature.

Getting Started: We were also pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy the system was to assemble - all we had to do was plug each of the units in and we were good to go.

This True Choice Premium Digital Monitor has all of the features you expect in a baby monitor including a night light, sound-light indicators, out-of-range indicator, low-battery indicator, volume control, connectivity indicators, either battery and plug-in options, as well as a wall mount for the child unit.

Additionally the First Years has also added some very cool features including a headphone jack, a belt clip (which my hubby loves) and a parent-unit finder. But one of our very favorite features is - rechargeable batteries!! For anyone who has children you know that it seems that every child item out there requires batteries so having rechargeable ones with this monitor is a huge plus!!

My husband particularly loves the three-way communication...allowing you the option to talk back and soothe your baby, or to talk to your spouse on the other unit – a feature he’s used quite a lot!

We both love the True Choice premium Digital Monitor and would highly recommend it to those parents and parent-to-be who are on the search for the perfect baby monitor.
