Arizona Police Search for 3-Year-Old Abducted Boy
Police in Mesa, Ariz., are asking for the public's help in finding a 3-year-old boy who was reported kidnapped.
Police say Isaiah Amari Vargaswas last seen about 9:45 p.m. Thursday night in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 550 East McKellips.
Isaiah's father told police that a family acquaintance had just arrived at the complex with his son inside the vehicle when a dark green Volkswagen Jetta pulled up next to it.
The father said two black males assaulted the family acquaintance, grabbed Isaiah and took off n the Jetta, which was driven by a third person. Police said in a press release that the gender and physical description of the driver is unknown. The Jetta drove off in an unknown direction.
Isaiah is described as 3 feet tall, weighs 29 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a red sports jersey with an unknown number on the front and the letters FUBU on the back, and blue jeans. The boy has a slight scar on his right forehead.
